But while we’re cruising into the end of October trying soooo hard not to buy our favorite Halloween candy too far ahead of the big night (’cause we all know what happens when Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are in the house come 10 o’clock…) we kinda need to start thinking about all that gift-giving coming our way in December.

SuthinGirl’s Mulled Cider

Ingredients:
½ gallon apple juice or cider
3 heaping Tbsp. mulling spice

Instructions:
Pour apple cider into a large stockpot and place over medium heat.
Fill mulling ball with spices and add to pot.
Heat until liquid is about to boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

For SuthinGirl’s Mulled Wine, replace cider with red wine, add 1 cup of orange juice and ¼ cup of sugar (optional).
