SuthinGirl Shops: Fall Accessories

August 04, 2015

Hey, kittens! SuthinGirl is off to dig her toes in the sand and catch up with family, friends and her favorite books.

Before I scoot, I’ll leave you with this little shopping confection to tide you over until we’re together again next week!

I may be sitting here in a bikini on the beach but I’m totally getting my pre-fall shopping groove on under an umbrella and having the best time doing it!

SuthinGirl love loves luxe accessories! I’ve been collecting beautiful shoes, handbags, belts and jewelry for years. I strongly believe in investing in artful, unique accessories with enduring quality.

Once in awhile, you happen upon a special piece that echoes the quality and look of your favorite designer, but at a fraction of the price. Well, that happened to me today! Like, over and OVER again!

You are never going to guess where I’ve discovered a treasure trove of designer-inspired shoes and accessories that will infuse your existing fall wardrobe with texture, trend and timeless style…are you ready? Ann Taylor!!!!

ANN TAYLOR has taken enormous inspiration from the fall looks debuted by couture designers including Chanel, Chloé, Hermès, Ippolita and Ferragamo, and completely revamped her shoes and accessories departments!

It’s been a looonnng while since Ann has captured my attention in a meaningful way but now I literally want everything!! I’m in LOVE with her new collection of shoes, handbags, belts and jewelry!

Ann Taylor’s new designs represent a luxe gathering of fall trends including suede, fringe, tassels, laces, quilting, perforated leather and rich bordeaux reds.

Ann’s shoes are really well made and I love her padded insoles. I just christened my shopping cart with her sumptous Tara Fringe Suede Sandals that look so much like the ones by Chloé! I’m not sure if I neeeed two pairs of high-heeled suede sandals, but I want them. So while I’m sitting here writing to you gorgeous girls, I’m trying to decide which color Lori Crossover Suede Sandals I’m ordering (thinking Coastal Beige to feed my nude shoe habit, natch)…with their flirty lace ties they look exactly like the new fall styles by designer Aquazzura.

Never having owned a pair of booties before (Gasp! I know!!), my first pair may likely be these Sloane Suede Peeptoe Booties in Dark Camel. I think they’d be super cute paired with my fall midi skirts (also found on ANN TAYLOR…I’m telling you, girlfriend’s really got it going on right now) as well as my favorite pair of culottes.

A no-brainer MUST HAVE to go with my dark skinny jeans are her Chanel-esque Quilted Leather Ballet Flats in Camel with their black patent toe. Chic and timeless! All that’s missing is the double C!

If you’re looking to follow in the steps of the latest laser cut trend by Prada, Gucci, Manolo Blahnik and Christian Louboutin, you’ll want to scoop up a pair of the Kim Cutout Leather Heels and Ann’s Chloé-lookalike Lynn Leather Ballet Flats.

When it comes to handbags, fashionistas everywhere are forecasting the saddle bag and last season’s darling, the bucket bag, to dominate fashion this fall as the top two shapes to carry. Ann has both Suede Crossbody Saddle Bag and Essex Drawstring Suede Crossbody Bag in a delish dark ruby that is the must-have color of the season.

You know SuthinGirl’s love for the clutch! I’m crazy about Ann’s ruby red Pebbled Crossbody Bag (the strap is detachable) with its sexy suede tassel.

This fall’s popular equestrian influence can be seen galloping across Ann’s beautiful belt collection. The gold buckle on her Equestrian Leather Belt captures the feel and flavor of Salvatore Ferragamo’s eponymous Gancini design. Tassels, tortoise and suede will provide the perfect finishing touches to your fall looks!

The jewelry at Ann Taylor is all buy one get one 50% off right now! While skimming her pieces I had to do a double-take at the beautiful Modern Classic Chain Toggle Bracelet because it looks that much like the classic Chaîne d’Ancre bracelet by Hermès!

Ippolita fans will flip for Ann’s Pave Disc Stud Earrings and Pave Disc Pendant Necklace which look identical to Ippolita’s Stardust Disc Earrings and Pendant Necklace! Ann’s Multi-Crystal Chandelier Earrings remind me of Ippolita’s Rock Candy Earrings and are ON SALE! If you love David Yurman’s Cable Classics Hoop Earrings, you’ll enjoy the same look with Ann’s Twisted Hoop Earrings.

TODAY and EVERY TUESDAY in AUGUST, Ann is offering an extra 10% off for CARD MEMBERS. Take an extra 40% off SALE items and if you give Ann your email address to keep in touch you’ll receive an extra 20% off FULL PRICE items!

On that high note, I’m off! Cocktail time on the beach for SuthinGirl. Enjoy loading your cart with goodies and send me pics of what you get!!

Happy Summer! See you sweet things next week! xx
