In my bedroom there’s a ban on kids’ stuff, work stuff, clutter (like old mags), and anything that might make me feel guilty..like exercise equipment (as if, right?) or books I know in my heart I’m never going to read.
Must haves include dimmable lighting, sumptuous sheets and bedding (I love love my feather pillows!), scented candles (So cliché, ha!) and fresh flowers.
I deliberately chose a smaller bedside table so I wouldn’t be tempted to accumulate a lot of things next to where I lay my head. What I keep close to me are items I cherish, such as a framed photo of my childhood home and an engraved silver coaster given to me by my sweet cousin, as well as things I use often in the evening.

FAVE! I love this cream so much I use it on my feet, legs, elbows, hands, shoulders…you name it! It has a really pretty, subtle scent, leaves your skin glowing but not greasy and is the best moisturizer I’ve ever used. I buy two tubes at a time!
Archipelago Botanicals Lavender Creme $19.70
The scent of lavender will always remind my husband and me of our honeymoon in the south of France. This cream has the most delicious whipped texture, really moisturizes and smells the most like genuine lavender of any cream I’ve ever tried. He loves it when I use it at night before bed!
FAVE! I KNOW what you’re thinking! You’re like…whaaaat? Fifty dollars for a lip balm?! Trust me, girls. This is THE BEST I’ve ever used and I love it SO MUCH that I apply it on top of my lipstick, too. It fills in your lips (great for those of us who may have a teensy wrinkle here and there) and plumps them so they appear so smooth! One pot lasts a long time and smells and tastes good, too.

SuthinGirl is always looking for little ways to luxe up her life. I love the texture of this cord and its extra length makes it perfect for plugging in behind my bed.
All the sleepwear I recommend is machine washable with regular detergent. However, if you want to give yourself an even more lush experience, try washing your sleepwear and pillowcases in The Laundress’ Delicate Wash. I am CRAZY about the ‘Lady’ scent!
